Government: None, but if you kill, steal, etc... the town you live in will kick you out.
How unified is the country?: No central powers
Tolerance: Do as you please
Food sources: Spear-Fishing (Palejagnajamin – originaly hunting/fishing was “hlat-u” but it’s meaning transformed to “to have sex” because of a simile between spears and uhhh…. penis), and agriculture (Kilijamin)
Climate: Temperate
Economy: Bartering
Army: None
Main weapon: Spears (really only used for fishing)
Literacy: nearly universal
Magic: comes with you, but very hard to master. (easiest magic is waterbending, hardest is resurrection, with only one person called Aadlak knowing how to use it.
Tech: Contemporary in most non-war related parts
Worshipee: None.
Gender equality: (people born) women are treated equally to (people born) male, (people born) neuter, and people born as none of them.
Sex: you can hlatu whoever, whenever. Nobody cares, it’s a natural thing, and Pan don't reproduce by means of hlatu. You can hlatu on the middle of the town square and nobody would give a shit. In fact, most friendships are romantic, and most friends hlatu each other. this is not to say that asexual or aromantic Pan don't exist. Pan can be happy and not hlatu. unrelated, but friend groups live on 1 house.
Most common species: “pan” (lit. “person”), a humanoid species. Longer description in a bit.
Most common concern: Day-to-day stuff.
Dear cheryl, what the hell is a “Pan”?!
Pan are a Human-Like species.
They have 3 sexes: Male, Female, and Neuter. Sexes are not linked to gender (there are a LOT more genders), and changing sex, or gender, is well seen. there are also Pan with characteristics that don't fit in the 3 sexes.
I made a sketch of one, to try show some anatomy. This specimen is drawn without sex organs. most females don’t have breasts:
They have a bunch of mixes, here are the some of them, with their characteristics:
Cat – Cat ears instead of horns, tail, more average agility. More obsessive tendencies, which make them better at some tasks. Purr a lot.
Deer – Deer horns, tail, more average agility than Cat-people, more head strength.
Demon – pointed tail, redder hair (varies based on the percentage of Demon genes), impulsivity, intelligence, fast thinking, more facility with magic.
Angel – pitch-black hair (if more than 20%), wings (not useful, as flying is a quite advanced magic), ability to remain calm, fast thinking, more facility with magic.
Goat – more kindness, increased empathy, slight increase in speech politeness, protection for close people. (all traits I associate with Toriel from Undertale lol)
Spider – more limbs, increase in astuteness, more flexibility, facility with socializing.
These can be mixed. For example, one of my characters, Claire, is 20% Demon, but another one, Aadlak (the resurrection Pan) is: 18% Demon, 20% Angel, 10% Deer, and 4% Cat.
On Magic:
Magic, for Pan, is just a normal part of their lives, using it for crops (waterbending), cooking (fire generation), sleeping on weird places (pain removal), et caetera.
It is an obligatory subject in most schools.
Some (waterbending, fire generation, and soil fertilization) usually need (not too frequent, but not too infrequent) practice.
The learning usually goes like this:
waterbending
fire generation
sexbending
soil fertilization (where 99% of people seize to learn more magic)
pain removal
wound cure
flight
hypnosis
resurrection (by hugging people until they come back to life, lmao)
note that some are frowned upon, due to them being against the identity or free will of others, those being sexbending another person, or hypnosis, although self-defense hypnosis is taught at schools. (due to the rise of hypnosys knowledge, some use it recreationally)
Countries and Cities of Sansis.
Sansis is an union of 5 Countries, hence the name (“sans” = 5, “is” = country)
the countries (in joining order) are:
adafis
ozedis
insis
sliazis
gujis
here’s a (badly drawn) map:
Etimologies (in proto-sansis/bumblas):
adafis - ataff (old poetic word for forest) + iss (village)
eventually -iss (modern: -is) turned into a word to describe countries.
Music:
Traditional Pan music is played using a reed instrument similar to clarinets called “Chijwoshales” (lit. “blow-sing stick”), a ukelele-like one “wom” (lit. “singing hair”), and a taiko-like instrument called “techar” (lit. “hit skin”/“hit membrane”)
Birth:
Ojan was a neuter Pan (12.15% deer, 6.5% demon, 1% cat) born in northern Sliazis, at the point where you’re not sure if it’s Sliazis or Insis.
Their Parent (who was neuter, and 24.3% deer), Miin, and their Father, Boons (13% angel, 2% cat), gave them the name Ojan, because the village they were born in was full of leaves (Ojan comes from oldSansis “osa-nu”, leaf child).
Ojan strayed away from their parents very early, which was seen as an accomplishment.
Early childhood:
Ojan went to school willingly, since it’s better than human schools, and they taught how to not get scammed while bartering, some basic coin (rocks, to teach) commerce for dealing with foreigners, andsome magic, which Ojan quickly got good at.
Ojan had a small group of friends, called Shajan, Anaklun, and Ilovon.
Ojan wore a skirt (zhinyojachar) and a tanktop-like shirt (kaadojachar), the typical attire, both made of black wool over leaves, and got trusted more easily, due to skirts being a symbol of innocence.
Ojan got severely harmed at the age of 8, which made their friends take them to the healer, Aadlak, in the mountain of Adafis, at it’s highest point, the nearly unpopulated village of Panajukyesh, andOjan got healed quickly, but the face of Aadlak stayed in their memory.
Ojan started growing their own crops at 12
Adolescence:
Ojan completed school at 14, about the same time as their friends, Shajan, Anaklun, and Ilovon, and they all decided to work on the crops together.
As Ojan grew, their curiosity for places out of Sliazis did so as well, so they decided to go to Ozedis, to a beachside village, and started learning how to fish.
They were not too good at it and decided to continue with agriculture in their new town, but Anaklun became really skilled at it.
Shajan and Ilovon, both trying to be Cooks, Started using Ojan and Anaklun’s ingredients to make food, and teamed up with them.
Ilovon started learning how to play the Chijwoshales.
One day, they accidentally cast a genderbend spell on Ilovon, but Ilovon, who had never properly learnt magic, really liked her new Female form, and decided to stay that way, not telling anyone thatOjan accidentally did it, instead saying she did it herself, so Ojan wouldn’t take the blame.
As their friendship grew, they grew tighter together, and sometimes hlatu-ed each other, as friends do.
Adulthood:
After becoming an adult, Ojan decided that they wanted to mate, and decided to do so with the friend that they most helped, that being Ilovon.
Ilovon, at first, was confused as to why, but she accepted, and she impregnated Ojan (the person who asks to mate gets impregnated, regardless of sex)
When the baby was born, Ilovon and Ojan both tried help it be more independent, with success, which meant they could be with their friends again.
Ojan’s life was normal from then.
Death:
Ojan passed away at 90 years old from old age, and due to it being a natural cause, Aadlak refused to revive them, which caused great sadness to their friends, but they managed to move on, and all(separately) died, some months after.
Biography of Aadlak:
Birth and Childhood:
Aadlak Barhen was born in the unforgiving polar desert of Panajukyesh, where she practically only studied magic, as she had previously shown difficulty with that, and she studied until she could fly, but Aadlak was resillient, and she studied and practiced until she could cast resurrection.
As an only child, she didn’t have anyone take care of her, so she strived on her own.
Her parents died very early.
Adolescence:
Word spread of the healer of Panajukyesh, and she started offering her services in exchange of food.
She quickly became popular.
Adulthood (present day):
She learned to collect food from the few existing trees, and stopped charging for her services.

Gujisian
yes, there was such a thing. it's derived from proto-sansisian. it's not really defined, since most people just use Sansisian
everything is pronounced like in the IPA, except for h (x), b (v), and l (ʎ)
it uses SOV order.
it uses no markers, everything is guessed from context
the -u in verbs is there by influence of Sansisian, it serves no real purpose.
